Finally I have done the sketch for the fist song,
and print them on to the real size paper.

It's...MASSIVE...
I wonder whether I can manage to finish it...heh

I listen the music that I am illustrating when I am working,
but these days I cant stop myself playing Noah...whale.

The sound was harmonised with the quiet atmosphere of rainy morning,
I was so chilled out...

Had too many things to Do, Talk, and Think today.

Woke up early to prepare for the lunch time tutorial...

I guess almost EVERYONE is thinking the similar way to illustrate music.
Be unique...!

And also another tutorial for FMP, which is the one I'm not doing anything so far.
Hmm...The scales fell from my eyes.
I think they are really thinking about students,
and indicating the best way gently when we are lost.
I can do it!

I have kept working since I got back home....forgetting time.
It is so fun... cant stop...
But now Im nearly fainted with sleepy head and hungry stomach. hahaa

It would be a midpoint of February after 4 days...why...! why February has only 28 days...

Today was a group meeting for the competition!
I went to Uni with a lot of enthusiasm(?), but nobody turned up and it end up with doing 1 to 1 tutorial again...lol
Well, in the first place, not many ppl doing Packaging design brief,
and the meeting was separated into a few groups among 3 days.
But still...haha
And there will be a new Client brief on Monday...!
I wanna do! Horse! and I got a printed brief today at the meeting.

But if I am going to do it, there would be no time at all?
Even more, I cannot do FMP anymore?



And today we had a talk at gallery, by Airside.
The design agency I went to the studio visit, and also launch party for their website the other day.
There are one of the founder, Alex and French illustrator, Malika.





Her erotic, kinky girls illustration was nice.
The smooth line of ladies made by illustrator were so beautiful.

After the talk we went to the pub just around the corner of Uni.
They are now setting up the studio in Japan so they quite well-known about Japanese culture?
We talked about Hatsune Miku! hahaha! geeky

And we could go to the studio visit (again!) and they can do the portfolio view for us.
Yess!

So, I need to create portfolio until next month...
Oh I made another subject to work on...gosh
I knew I had to make one now though! At least before I graduate.

Today was an all-day workshop.
How-to-make-collage workshop by Martin O'Neil, who has been come to
University to have a lecture before, and I admired his work very much.



The duration of working on each works was quite tight and short, but
I could really enjoy it and think it is really effective way to use time.
His advice and words was very free, but also very powerful.

But it was tiring... couldn't even work in the library...
I will scan my works in and post them up later...

But it was fun!

I! met! the guy from! my Most- favourite band, Noahandthewhale! in London!

I was in London to see In-store gig of Fenech-Solor,
but on the way back, when I was trying to across the road and waiting at the signal,
the face of a guy standing in front of me was sooo familiar to me.

And I found it was him, asking after we across the road.
It was lucky that my friend had a good camera so I could take pics together!

Somehow I have been always unlucky about their gigs, because I am living outside of London, so
couldn't make late-night gig, and they played when I was back in Japan, and I had a mistake
to miss the tickets of their gigs...
But, finally I could see and talk to him, I feel so greatttt

I think I was in panic...
but he was really nice person and didn't mind even if I stopped him and took his time.

I felt like it was a dream even right after I talked to him...
but because of this, I started to keep listening their tunes again,
some of the tunes are played nearly 200 times on my iTunes lol

I think I should listen to them and go to as much gig as I can before I go back to Japan.
Because they don't come to Japan! :(( I would not be able to see them anymore! :'(
Even if I love them so much!

Monday.
It is kind of wasting time if I am having a nap even I wake up early everyday!

But I found out that I can work quite effectively at night if I sleep a bit after I came back from Uni.
So, I would say it is not waste of time.

I will observe Kandinsky's paintings tonight.

And, gonna study English hard, cuz the exam has confirmed today by paying the fee, yes!

Ahh
It is almost a week since February started, nooo!

I couldn't manage to wake up this morning at 7, so we went for a walk at 10.30 instead..
then had lunch and generate ideas,
but there are too many families and people at Mcdonald this Sunday lunch time,
so we went back home...
Think Nero is the best place to be concentrate.

I felt sooo sleepy and couldn't resist, and had a nap,
thats how I wasted this afternoon! :((

Ahhh need to start nowww
and need to stop watching anymore One pieceeee

Btw I can't see these new episodes of it without any tears.
I remember I cried when I read original comic, but the quality of animation these days
got much better than before and it making it more dramatic :'(
And I love the opening song much much more than previous one!
(I amazed by how many times this new song played at Youtube...lol)



I wanna read through all the comics back in Japan again...


Oh, okay I will do my work yes! :P

Today was a good day!
I woke up quite early, early enough to have a walk,
and cleaned up kitchen and my room,
sort out e-mails and receipt,draw illustrations,
went Uni to scan those, and wrote new posts finally on my course blog,
and I could also study English at cafe :)

Doing D&AD at night...hmm...difficult...

I will make tomorrow as a productive day too!

Is spring coming?



I found Snow Drop this morning when I was walking.
This should be one of the plants that will tell beginning of spring, wasn't it?

I think it is pretty warm these days, but guess last attack by winter will come on around March...

Then, tutorial for the competition today again.
And 1 hour again.
It is exactly one month left until the deadline! Ahhh I will be crazy :(
And I am doing 2 briefs.. how can I finish it..
I will work hard this weekend...

And, my work submitted to the competition of Lloyds had passed to the final judge!
I will be invited to the event on March, I guess there are many finalists and
the winner will be chosen among them...

For now, I need to concentrate on D&AD briefs,
but I really wish to win!

I'm going to the library everyday these days...

On Wednesday night, I went and saw Pete Doherty for the first time.
He often have some accident or trouble like cancelling his gigs or that sort of things,
so I was bit worried but he was there and we could have a great night!

The venue was small pub in Old Street, so I could see him quite close even I was in backside of the crowds.
I forgot to brought my camera...gosh...
But it was nice and fun, everyone was sang together with him so the small pub was filled with people and very loud.
