New Year's Eve with Foals

That was such a fantastic New Year's Eve night I ever had.

I've never been impressed by the live music.
Their great play made me cry, especially when they are
playing ''Spanish Sahara'' and ''Red Socks Pugie''.
What a great night.
I love them forever..........!!!!

I could saw Yannis, Walter, and Jack quite close from my position,
but everyone including Edwin and Jimmy, and other guys supported them
when they counting the time down to the New Year.

It was at HMV forum Camden, London, but the whole venue was packed,
and the ticket was sold-out.

Surprisingly this was the first time I had a New Year's Eve in London
though it was the 4th New Year I experienced in this country :P
Never knew that all tube and bus service would be free until 4am!
Well done London...

Their music blew all the tiredness I had.

That was a great, great way of starting new year 2011.

It is already 30th.
Very close to the new year!

It's really warm these days, compared to 1 or 2 weeks ago.
I turned the heater's dial to the low temperature finally..
But all I need is a sun...!!! :(

Today I cleaned up my room!
Everything back to its places after the mess during I was working on the dissertation..
Satisfied :)

And went to the Only Japanese Restaurant in Epsom, to kind of celebrate New Year's Eve eve??
Their sushi rolls are sooooo nice!
Hmm, my favorite, (baby)dynamite roll... yumm

The 3 days fight with Dissertation finished....6077 words....

All I wanna do right now is to

SLEEP.

I had a sleep for these last 3 days but
after I staring at the computer screen and squeezing my brain to think about the sentence was killing me...
My head is about to explode. heavyyyyy

Gonna have a rest anyway.

Tomorrow is already 30th, gosh! :/

and the day after tomorrow is the New Year's Eve..!

5000

Finally I have reached to 5000 words today...!!
1000 words to go, one chapter and the conclusion.
I will leave this until the tutorial in middle of January after I reread & correct some points and concentrate on the project!!

I'm sooooo exhausted, after the long day of concentration.
But I am the person who can't leave the thing and stick at it everyday...
Anyway this would be the final academic writing I am going to do until
the graduation so I would be happier than ever after I hand this in...

And the landlord came in today with hired cleaner,
but there were only corridor and the bathroom on the 1st floor to clean up for them
because I did it yesterday! Hehe
I got chocolates for rewards :D and getting fatter and fatter lol

But the shower seems to be broken on 1st floor today, because the part of shower got a crack and the water is leaking out of it, and making noises of tapping the floor which is quite scary to hear in this lonely quiet house!! :(


And I watched Oshare izm of the episode about 4 guys from uno fog bar's CM.
I loveeddd itttt :))
This was the second time they coming as a guest, and I watched the first one when I was back in Japan this summer.

Can't stop watching dramas and TVs these days...
I have to go out!!
Otherwise my body will be petrified...

Finally reached to the half of the entire essay,
I want to finish it as soon as I can!
Hmm...I still need to work on to the uni's project and make a portfolio...
and this portfolio has to be done before the deadline of dissertation :P



This is one of the lovely Birthday presents I got, The weekly calendar of illustration by Airside.
I can't believe that there are already 2011's date on the same page.
2010 is nearly finishing...

And I cleaned up the house today.
Kitchen, Lounge, Bathroom, Corridor, and Staircase...
Especially the Kitchen's floor and sink is totally shiny :)
I will not let anybody say any complaints!





And, these images are the book design done by Coralie Bickford-Smith which I found when I was researching book design for the dissertation today.
Her design is so gorgeous, and especially these set of books about 'Arabian Nights - tales of 1001 nights' is so beautiful.
Because I was curious, I went to Amazon to see how much do they sell these books.
And the price was extraordinary: 650pounds.
I don't understand why the used product got much higher price though, which is 1689.06 pounds.
Unbelievable!!!!
I would just get one of the Penguin's classic book series from Waterstone's, which is also designed by her.

Technical Problem

Today was a boxing day, next day of Xmas.
Everyone must be in a middle of holiday mood
but I was working on dissertation X_X

It was almost the evening when I finally started to write the essay,
after the lots of reading and making structure.
I reached nearly 2000 words before the dinner time,
but the accident happened.

Somehow the Norton AntiVirus software detected the Virus in my
dissertation's word file, and it forced to save and close it.
Next moment when I opened the file again, the half of them
(means over 1000 words☆) has transformed into illegal character(?) or
disappeared. Hahaha

The only thing I can say to encourage myself to repair these text again before
go to sleep was, 'This was much better than losing everything after I finished whole essay...'

Anyway I am still staring at the screen and writing, when the clock is saying 4 in the morning.

What a nice start! :/ Ha

I need to Come Back, finally...

This has been really, really, long time since I wrote the last post.

It is almost 2 months(!), as I have been missing the chance to write blog.
I was giving me the excuses not to write because I felt low for the last few months
especially since the new term started, and end up giving up the routine I have been
kept for about 10 months.

I am writing this new post because I had a wonderful spiritual Xmas day and
realised the new year is just around the corner.

Add to this, I drew xmas illustrations too.

Ate magnificent dinner,
Opened the wine for the prize I've got from the competition (detail later),
Exchanged the present,
and Watched Love Actually.
Quiet and nice night it was :)
Next Xmas I would be in Japan...

Experienced Tarot since I had it 3,4 years ago too.
The result was pretty much the truth except the one I didn't understand(or haven't figure it out).
Kind of scary isn't it :P

Thinking too much ain't be good thing,
I wanna be the person who can stand with own feet without lost.
The reason many unexpected(and unpleasant) things happened this year
was because I couldn't make right decision caused by insecure thoughts.

Well, for now, all I need to do first is to finish the dissertaion!!
I will work hard from tomorrow! Concentrate! ;)
