I went to Paris from 1st to 4th January.
From St.Pancras, it took only 2 hours to Nord station, Paris.
This time we booked hotels near Nord station so
we didn't need to drug luggage all the way to hotel far away
from central station.
After we dropped our stuff we walked toward Opera.
Then we found out the shop 'Ultramod'(shop of buttons and ribbons)
is closed, went in to the restaurant near Opera.
Then walked alongside of the Seine and looked through the Bookinistes,
and went through the concorde, and went to the Champs Elysees.
When I visit here a year ago was right before Christmas,
so there were fabulous illumination with the trees bothsides of Champs Elysees and full
of people and lots of shops.
But this time all the shops were removed, and less people... :(
On this first day of France trip we kept walking around the Paris
and been exhausted...
Paris was so freezing compared to London, there was no wonder
to seeing snow at any time.
